An external audio interface offers lower latency than onboard audio and is better suited to live vocal processing and monitoring.

Latency with plugins loaded

For stable livestreaming, the latency displayed in idolLiveAudio must stay below 25 ms after loading the complete preset and plugin chain. Check this value before each live session.
